As someone who is very active and always crawling around, these are perfect and they don’t pinch or hurt me when I’m playing. I would recommend these 100% of the time.
I recently used the Hydra Arm Pads and Knee pads at the NXL Mid-Atlantic Open. I wasn't playing this event, however I was a photographer on the sidelines for the long days... and now I get why players praise these pads. The constant kneeling, getting up, and moving around took a toll on me the first day, and decided to swing by the Hydra tent to check out the pads. JD went over the ins and outs and the R&D that went into the creation of the pads with me. What impressed me most was how extremely comfortable they were—both the knee and elbow pads were insanely comfy they didn't slip out of place while I was constantly moving around. Bonus point for not feeling too hot or feel uncomfortable wearing them all day. They worked exactly as designed. The compression truly helped circulate blood around my legs, keeping them from feeling as fatigued. They made a huge difference for me as a photographer. Without them, I'm not sure I would've managed the full day. I love them and plan on using them moving forward. Highly recommended.
Best knee pads I have ever used! The compression sleeve is thick, comfortable, and provides your knee with support. The pad is adequate protection for slides. The best part is they’re so comfortable I forgot I was wearing them! Trust the size guide when ordering.
You’ll see a couple reviews of them sliding down on this page …… at first they were great but once they wear in almost any slide or dive will make them slide down to your ankle I even got a smaller size then required cause I expected this once they broke in. What I didn’t expect was the burns and rubbing they cause everytime! When I play now I get burns like the picture below. Makes going to sleep that night a miserable experience cause even a blanket touching it causes pain. My cousin also bought these and is having the same experience with burns and them slipping down.
Great product!! The knee pads are super lightweight and I can barely tell it’s there at times until I take a knee and feel absolute comfort. They feel great and don’t slide down like other knee pads I’ve had before.
