i must say i have used a lot of knee pads as a snake player and i got to a point where i would say all knee pads will fall down as you play but i can say that hydras knee pads is the real deal, they stay in place hold you knee warm all the time and have a good padding for any hard hits..
I got the king in 3xl because thats what was left, and the hahaha and assassins in XL. Gougous, if a big heavy. This one was baggy but thats to be expected, but the arms fit perfectly. I bodybuilt before i got into this sport so in not your avarege fit for a lot of clothes. And while the XL fits me bests in the chest, and is can still wear a chest protecter under it, the arms are really tight. Maybe I can get away with a really light weight arm pads but not with the ones I have. Not there fault but a thing to keep in mind if your built up some muscle. If you have go up one size. The 3 XL has the best arm fit but is quite baggy so medf purchase ill split the difference and get a 2xl. If you were looking at undr jerseys(its the only other jersey is own) these are longer but tigher around the collar and arms.
Tried every different paintball knee pad, plus others for wrestling, volleyball etc... these are by far the best, nice padding & compression, and most importantly they stay in place while running & sliding
I have struggled with finding knee pads that would fit my small legs. All the ones from the hardware store are way too big and for a time I was using velcro knee pads that were meant for volleyball but velcro doesnt last long... I got the XS and they are a great fit just a little bit of a fight each morning before work to get them on! I use them at work because I am constantly kneeling on tile floor. Now i can skate around on my knees and drop to the ground with no impact!
I really love theses knee pads. Very comfortable and do not slip while playing. I have played in many different brands and have always had them slide off because I’m a bigger guy but with Hydra that is never a problem. I also use these at work when I’m knelt down working on A/C units. They are an all around great kneepad.
Literally the best kneepads I’ve ever worn, don’t even notice I have them on and can wear them all day, been using them for the past couple months taking all the dives and slides and they still look brand new, highly recommend
I wear these while I'm playing and at work as well. I work in the utility business and these are the only knee pads I can wear all day without having to adjust throughout the day.
Jerseys are super breathable and make playing in the Texas heat much more enjoyable.
The jersey are made of good quality material and hold up to all the running and diving into snake 🐍. They are very breathable during the summer months in Texas and very reasonably priced. Hydra fit is constantly changing up the jersey art work to keep the designs fresh! Only problem is they sell out so fast, so you better get the one you want NOW before it’s too late!!! Also if you haven’t tried the hydra black knee pads, you are doing your knees a disservice. They provide great protection in a low profile design. You forget you are even wearing them. Keep and eye on this company they are making waves in the paintball community.
Great jersey, great material. Very breathable for the hot Texas days. Designs and color schemes are unique and go with almost any gun set up. 10/10
They knee pads give me the support I need for a big dude. they don't slide down and I've been using them for months now and still look new and I've been playing every weekend.
I’ve been using hydra knee pads for a year, and they still look brand new. As they’re compression pads, I can even use them off the field to help with my knees. I simply refuse to use any other pads, and will stand by that for as long as I use them. JD even let me try them on before I bought them!
Love the Hydra Knee pads. Great quality and comfort. Unlike other pads that require a velcro strap or material that over time breaks down from use and washes etc. ("Foam" ) these won't.
You can toss them in the wash after a hard days work and dry them in the dryer "Help shrink them" for a snugger fit all over again. Easily done 100* Washes and the padding isn't compromised.
Why pay $$ to big brands who aren't going to listen to player feedback or take 2+ years to make a changes for their product. Hydra listens to everyday players and make a product for everyday paintballers from the beginner to the pros.
Don't take my word for it try the product or read the reviews. What do you have to lose literally? An MCL or ACL?
